Hello there, and welcome!
We're so glad you've found your way to our little corner of the internet. Whether you stumbled here looking for a specific tutorial or you're a fellow maker searching for fresh inspiration, pull up a chair and stay awhile.
I'm Kylie, the eclectic crafter behind the chaos. Laura is the talented wood burner who brings gorgeous pyrography to life. Together, we're a creative team who loves jumping between mediums — from 3D printing and resin art to jewelry making, air-dry clay, and so much more. If it involves creating something with our hands, chances are we've tried it (or we're currently buried in supplies trying to figure it out).
Honestly, we kept finding ourselves writing down notes, links, and tips for friends who asked, "How did you make that?" or "What supplies should I buy?" After typing out the same recommendations again and again, we realized it was time to put everything in one place — a space where we could share what we've learned, what worked, what didn't, and all the little lessons along the way.
This blog is our creative journal, our resource library, and hopefully, a helpful guide for you too.
We plan to share all sorts of crafty content, including:
Project tutorials – Step-by-step guides for things we've actually made
Supply recommendations – The tools, materials, and kits we personally use and love
Tips and tricks – Little lessons we learned the hard way so you don't have to
3D printing deep dives – Filament reviews, maintenance advice, and post-processing techniques
Jewelry making – From beads and findings to pendants and stringing materials
Wood burning (pyrography) – My partner's specialty, from live edge slabs to detailed box art
Air-dry clay & molds – Making masters, sealing projects, and creating silicone molds
Honest reviews – What's worth your money and what you can skip
We're big fans of supporting local businesses whenever we can, but honestly, we've had to turn to online shopping for most of our specialty supplies. You'll find affiliate links sprinkled throughout our posts — that means we may earn a small commission if you make a purchase through them, at no extra cost to you. We only recommend things we've actually used and genuinely like.
We're also constantly learning. What we share today might change tomorrow as we discover better techniques or new favorite products. We'll keep updating our posts as we go, so consider this a living, growing resource.
We're so excited to have you here. Whether you're a complete beginner or a seasoned maker, we hope you find something useful, inspiring, or just plain fun.
Feel free to poke around, leave a comment, or reach out with questions. We'd love to hear what you're working on!
Now, let's go make something.
See you at the craft table,
Kylie & Laura
