Scissor-Tailed wood burning kit is a solid, beginner-friendly choice. The tips work beautifully for drawing, stamping, embossing, and carving on wood or leather.
A butane torch comes in handy for wood burning. Use it to shade large backgrounds, darken the edges of live edge slabs, or add a rustic, charred effect. Just hold the torch at a distance and sweep slowly until you get the darkness you want. Test on a scrap piece first and work in a well-ventilated space.
